Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Taxila website (taxila.ca) or participating in Taxila programs, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Description of Services
Taxila provides hands-on AI learning programs for grades 6-12 in library makerspaces across the Greater Toronto Area. Programs are subject to availability and may change.
Registration and Enrollment
Registration of interest does not guarantee enrollment. Program enrollment is subject to availability, eligibility requirements, and completion of necessary forms including parental consent for minors.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the confidentiality of any account credentials
- Use our services in compliance with applicable laws
- Respect other participants and instructors during programs
Intellectual Property
The Taxila name, logo, website content, and educational materials are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Learners retain ownership of original projects created during programs, while granting Taxila the right to showcase anonymised examples for educational and promotional purposes.
Program Conduct
Participants are expected to follow program guidelines, respect others, and use AI tools responsibly as taught. Taxila reserves the right to remove participants who violate conduct standards.
Limitation of Liability
Taxila provides services on an “as is” basis. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Our total liability is limited to amounts paid for the specific service in question.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Taxila and its officers, instructors, and partners from claims arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
Modifications
We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
